Rambo Masonic Lodge supports 501(c)(3) nonprofits and other worthy causes in our community in many ways. Most funding for this support comes from our fundraising projects such as our Smoked Turkeys and Smoked Hams, prepared and smoked to order which are sold during the holidays and provided for our widows and local families in need. (Look for information here about when Smoked Turkeys and or Hams will be available and how you can place your order.)
In addition to supporting local nonprofits, we provide scholarships for graduating seniors. In 2023, Rambo Masonic Lodge is proud to have awarded $8,000.00 in scholarships to graduating seniors. We may also help fund FFA school projects, Eagle Scout projects and others.
Donations to the Building Fund. The Lodge received a Grant award of $21,795 from the LCRA, PEC and hope you can help. We’re very proud of our building, some call the Crown Jewell of the Historic District, and one of the oldest in Dripping Springs. Our Recorded Texas Historic Landmark building has been around since the late 1800’s and is in need of some tender loving care. The Grant will help replace 10 of the 12 ground floor windows but there are two more windows on the ground floor and 18 windows on the second floor. The decades old frames have rotted wood and need replacing. The replacement cost to comply with Historical Commission requirements is astronomical and estimated to be about $2,500 per window. We want everyone to be proud of this iconic building and hope the community will help us maintain and preserve this historic building in the Historic District of Downtown Dripping Springs. Hard as we try, our fundraising efforts just may not be enough to meet the needs of our community. This is where you can help by making a one time or monthly donation to one or more of our worthy causes. Click on our Donate button where you can donate securely by using PayPal or a Credit Card. Choose the dollar amount and whether you’d like to make this a monthly donation. Make a note in the “Write a note” box and indicate where your donation can help.
