Brother David Counts It is with great sadness that the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Texas announces the passing of our well-beloved Brother David Counts – Grand Master of Masons in Texas 2008-2009.
Bro. Robert Wise, August 17, 1967 – July 10, 2023, a member and newly installed junior deacon of McAllen Lodge No. 1110, was tragically and brutally murdered on Monday, July 10 while returning to his vehicle immediately following the installation of officers at the lodge. According to McAllen police, who have taken a suspect into custody, the assailant was in waiting at a business near the lodge building.
